Big, Big Fun in Glasgow
Glasgow's Big Big World festival, the celebration of world music, is set to come to the city again this October.
Featuring an array of talent from Asia, Africa, North and South America and Europe, music fans may want to book into one of the city's cheap hotels to check out the event.
Although the line-up is yet to be confirmed for this year's instalment, which starts on October 18th 2006, previous festivals have seen big names such as Aziz, Unusual Suspects, Joyce and Los de Abalos perform.
The event's organiser, Soundsfine, hosts the event, along with Big Big Country, in the city of its origin.
Soundsfine has pledged to bring a diverse range of artists and styles to Glasgow, many of which have not been heard in Scotland before.
Following successful collaborations with the Sounds of Sweden festival, the organisers were able to present the former Abba star, Benny Anders.
