Bill Bailey to Entertain Glasgow
Much-loved British stand-up Bill Bailey will bring his UK tour to the Glasgow Theatre Royal next month.
Comedy fans will be able to see the entertainer - who is known for his often unkempt appearance and quirky observations on life - from August 17th to 22nd.
Bailey has cemented his reputation as a British comedy great through stand-up shows such as Part Troll and Bewilderness, as well as regular appearances on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, QI and other programmes.
He has also shown his acting skills in sitcom Black Books and movies including Hot Fuzz and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
The show that people staying in cheap hotels in Glasgow will see at the Theatre Royal features a host of new material as well as parts of Tinselworm, which Bailey recently performed at the Gielgud Theatre in London.
Other venues due to be visited by the comedian this summer include the Oxford New Theatre (August 10th-15th) and the Bristol Hippodrome (August 24th-29th).
