Birmingham NEC to Become a Horticulturalist's Heaven
The Birmingham NEC will celebrate all things horticultural later this year when it plays host to BBC Gardeners' World Live.
A spin-off from the popular BBC television show, this major event will attract green-fingered flower lovers to the West Midlands from June 10th to 14th.
There will be plenty for people staying in cheap hotels in Birmingham to see at the event, including show gardens, stands selling various products and of course a host of plants and flowers.
Live demonstrations will be given by popular television personalities including Monty Don, Carol Klein and Toby Buckland.
New additions to this year's show include a stage presented by Countryfile magazine and an educational zone, which could help the event improve on the record number of Royal Horticultural Society gold medals it picked up last year.
Another popular event set to be held at the NEC this year is the Grass Roots Football Live show, which will come to the venue from June 12th to 14th.
