People who book a cheap hotel in London can get a taste of high culture next month as the Royal Opera House shows a new production of Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte.
Showing until February 17th, Jonathan Miller's modern production brings the classical opera into a contemporary setting, offering audiences a new vision of Mozart's opera.
The story tells the tale of two men who test the loyalties of their girlfriends to a dramatic climax. Themes of love, manipulation and trust still resonate with audiences today, making Cosi Fan Tutte still just as popular.
Director Julia Jones makes her Covent Garden debut, but familiar faces return for the lead roles, including Charles Castronovo, Troy Cook, Sally Matthews and Nino Surguladze.
Visitors to the opera house might be interested to a book a backstage tour before the evening performance. Tourists can see costumes worn in past performances, the empty auditorium, dressing rooms and if they are in luck, a ballet class in progress.
