Book a cheap hotel in London for classical experience To celebrate the bicentennial of Fredric Chopin's birth, book a cheap hotel in London and buy tickets to his birthday concert.

London will host two birthday concerts, the first on February 22nd at the Royal Festival Hall, as well as a Chopin Masterclass on February 27th and the second concert in March.

The first concert will be performed by pianist Krystian Zimerman, a fellow Polish musician, like Chopin himself.

Zimerman will play a repertoire of the Funeral March, Piano Sonata No.2 in B flat minor and the Piano Sonata No.3 in B minor.

He is an acclaimed pianist and known for being one of the world's best interpreters of the great composer. He also won the 1975 Chopin Competition in Warsaw, aged just 18.

Celebrations for Chopin's bicentenary comes as the city hosts Polska!, a year-long festival recognising Polish art and culture across the UK.

Visitors who book cheap hotels in London can also see the Chelsea Opera Group perform Verdi's tragedy La Traviata at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on February 21st.
