Book a Cheap Hotel in London to Catch End of Hairspray
People who book a cheap hotel in London might want to buy a ticket to see Hairspray as it will be coming to a close on March 28th.
The show will finish after a successful two-and-a-half years and £50 million in ticket sales at the Shaftsbury Theatre, holding onto its four Olivier awards as it goes on tour around the UK.
Some of the nation's best-loved stars have graced the stage in the past, including Michael Ball and Phil Jupitus as housewife Edna Turnblad.
Stage Entertainment UK chief executive Bill Taylor said: "Every show, even a big, glorious hit show like this one, has a natural life and for now it's time for Hairspray to leave London."
Hairspray follows the tale of Tracy Turnblad, a teenager desperate to dance on a local TV show. When she wins a role in the show she becomes an instant celebrity.
Featuring 1960s-style dance music and rhythm and blues, the show has been a roaring hit all over the world.
