Brits Urged to See Edinburgh at Christmas
British people have been urged to take a trip to Scotland and experience the spectacle of Edinburgh at Christmas time.
Gillian Thompson, a spokesperson for VisitScotland's 'winter white' campaign, said that the Scottish capital is "a sight to behold" during the festive season.
She added: "The city sparkles in glittering brilliance as the lights of the Winter Wonderland illuminate Scotland's capital.
"Edinburgh has so much to offer all through the year but through the festive period it really provides both a unique view of Scotland and an opportunity to see one of Europe's most beautiful cities at its very best."
On November 27th, people staying in cheap hotels in Edinburgh will be able to enjoy the Christmas Light Night in Princes Street Gardens.
This event gets underway with a skating show on an outdoor ice rink before the lights on Edinburgh's Norwegian Christmas tree and around Princes Street are illuminated.
