Food-lovers will have a perfect chance to indulge their culinary tastes in the company of its finest purveyors at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham between June 13th and 17th, when the BBC Good Food Summer Festival takes place.
A delicious looking, smelling and tasting array of foods and wines will be on show at the festival, which will be attended by a number of celebrity chefs, with organisers promising that Gordon Ramsey, Lesley Waters and James Martin will be among them.
Tickets to the event start at £18 and will also provide free admission to the two other BBC festivals being held simultaneously at the NEC, Gardener's World Live and Good Homes Live, offering the chance to move on from Gordon Ramsey via Alan Tichmarsh to Lawrence Llewellyn-Bowen.
Visitors staying in cheap hotels in Birmingham can also enjoy a range of attractions in the city, such as Cadbury World in Bournville for those who just can't get enough chocolate, to the Tolkein Trail, which includes sites in the city used to inspire the Lord of the Rings author, including the two follies in Edgbaston which became the Two Towers of Middle Earth.
