Lovers of classical music get an early chance to enjoy themselves in London before the prom season starts with the London Handel Festival taking place from March 20th to April 26th.
The series of concerts is held in four venues, including Handel's local church, St George's in Hanover Square and his former home, Handel House.
Famous works by the composer to be featured include Messiah, Zadok the Priest and Poro.
According to the festival website, tickets vary from £5 for unreserved seats at St Georges to £50 for the best seats in the Britten Theatre at the Royal College of Music.
Those with a wider interest in the life and times of Handel can enjoy discovering more at Handel house, which is now a museum, or by visiting Westminster Abbey where he is buried.
