For the past eight years the final of this tournament has been held at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium while the new Wembley stadium was being built.
Tranmere Rovers and Leicester City were the last sides to contest a Carling Cup final at Wembley, with Leicester emerging victorious, but this year's deciding match will have a very different appearance owing to the rise in prominence the competition has enjoyed in recent years.
North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will battle it out in one semi-final, while reigning champions Chelsea will take on Everton in the other.
The new Wembley stadium is an impressive sight that attracts many sport fans staying in cheap hotels in London.
With 90,000 seats, the arena has the second largest capacity in Europe after the Nou Camp in Barcelona and boasts a magnificent arch that stretches hundreds of metres into the sky.
