Clapton and Co to Rock Hyde Park
People staying in cheap hotels in London will be treated to performances by some of the biggest names in rock at Hyde Park this summer.
The Hard Rock Calling event will get underway on June 28th with a performance by Eric Clapton.
Slowhand, as the legendary guitarist is affectionately known, will return to Hyde Park a decade after his last headlining performance and will be joined by special guests Sheryl Crow and John Mayer.
The musical entertainment will continue on June 29th as Hard Rock Calling brings The Police to Hyde Park.
Following their hugely successful world tour, the band led by Sting will be joined in London by KT Tunstall and Starsailor, with further acts to be added to the bill at a later stage.
Hyde Park is one of London's best known outdoor spaces and is famous for the musical events that it has hosted over the years.
Between July 3rd and 6th it will be the location for the O2 Wireless Festival, which will feature the likes of Jay Z, Morrissey and Fatboy Slim as headliners.
