Designer Wear Needn't Be Wearing
Replenishing one's wardrobe with bagfuls of designer gear is an attractive prospect for many. The cost often involved, however, is far from appealing.
This situation could all change in February next year when a number of Designer Warehouse Sales (DWS) are held in London.
Female fashion devotees can find the women's sale at the Worx in King's Cross between February 8th and 10th, while the men's event will be held between February 15th and 17th.
There will then be special sales exclusively featuring items designed by Nicole Farhi between February 29th and March 2nd.
Time Out magazine once listed the DWS as one of the top ten reasons to live in London, while Elle magazine listed the sales among its top 20 favourite shopping spots.
The organisers of the event claim that it houses more designer labels under one roof than any other outlet in the country. Brands sold at the fair in the past have included high street names Harvey Nichols and Selfridges.
People staying in cheap hotels in London in 2008 can find the DWS in Kings Cross in April, June, September/October and December.
