Doctor Dolittle Comes to Edinburgh Stage
People staying in cheap hotels in Edinburgh in May will be able to enjoy a unique and entertaining show as Doctor Dolittle comes to town.
The famous doctor with a supernatural ability to talk to animals will be at the Edinburgh Festival Theatre between May 20th and 31st.
In a show that is perfect for a family audience, Doctor Dolittle follows its titular veterinarian as he embarks on an adventure to find the great pink sea snail.
Filling the role of the doctor himself is popular musical entertainer Tommy Steele, who runs through hits including If I Could Talk to the Animals and I've Never Seen Anything Like It.
The production is full of ornate settings and impressive special effects, as well as an Oscar-winning score.
Doctor Dolittle will be followed onto the Edinburgh Festival Theatre stage by Eurobeat Almost Eurovision, a send-up of the famous cheesy song contest, which will run from June 2nd to 7th.
