Edinburgh Castle Hosts Concert Season
Music fans will be able to pay a visit to Edinburgh Castle in July to see live concerts by three acclaimed and highly successful bands.
First up will be Crosby, Stills & Nash, who will play on July 11th as part of a tour that will also include shows in Paris (July 4th), Amsterdam (July 6th), Manchester (July 10th) and other cities.
Edinburgh Castle will then play host to Duran Duran, the 80s pop favourites best-known for songs such as Girls on Film, Hungry Like the Wolf and Rio.
People staying in cheap hotels in Edinburgh will be able to see Simon Le Bon and co perform on July 16th before they head to London to appear at the Lovebox festival on July 18th.
Bringing the short series of live concerts to an end on July 18th will be Simple Minds, another band who enjoyed the peak of their success in the 80s with singles such as Don't You (Forget About Me).
Edinburgh Castle is arguably the Scottish capital's most famous attraction, located on an extinct volcano and boasting a history that stretches back to the 12th century.
