Enjoy a Beer in a Great Inn in Yorkshire
Book a cheap hotel in York and enjoy the delights of a cold beer on a trip across the Moors, as the county boasts four Great Inns of Britain.
Visitors to York who like a real country pub can stop in at some of the best. The Great Inns of Britain has accredited just 22 pubs in the UK. These include the Blue Lion in East Witton, Boar's Head in Ripley, Feversham Arms Hotel in Helmsley and The Yorke Arms in Ramsgill-in Nidderdale.
The Yorke Arms also recently made the top ten of Harden's Top Ten Restaurants 2010. The gastro pub is run by one of the UK's six female Michelin-starred chefs, Frances Atkins.
She said: "It is always fantastic to win critical acclaim, but a reader voted award makes this extra special and we truly appreciate the support of our diners and guests who have helped us to win this Top 10 Restaurant award with Harden's."
Harden's is a respected restaurant guide, ranking restaurants with the advice of customer reviews.
