Enjoy a Summer Gala in York
Anyone planning a summer trip to York this year will have the chance to enjoy some unique entertainment at the city's Grand Opera House.
The Summer Gala Evening of Song and Dance will be held at the venue on July 26th this year.
Hosted by Marguerite Porter, former principal ballerina of the Royal Ballet, this show features a number of song and dance performances, all of which are presented in aid of the Yorkshire Ballet Seminars.
An impressive selection of dancers will appear at the event, including Wayne Sleep and some of the contemporary stars of the Royal Ballet.
The gala evening will also feature actors including Derek Jacobi and Samantha Bond, the comedian Ronnie Corbett and music from the Shepherd Brass Band.
Travellers planning stays in cheap hotels in York between August 6th and 8th this year will be able to visit the Grand Opera House as it presents a production of Fame - The Musical.
