Enjoy Edinburgh's Leith Festival
People staying in cheap hotels in Edinburgh this year may get the opportunity to enjoy the Leith Festival, a celebration of culture that takes place at various locations around the city.
The festival incorporates a range of recitals, concerts, exhibitions, live music shows, comedy, theatre and more between May 30th and June 8th.
One of the highlights of the occasion will be the parade and gala day on the Links.
This will see hundreds of revellers, or Leithers, gathering to walk from Pilrig Street to Leith Links.
Another event taking place in June – the Three Harbours Arts Festival – could prompt people visiting Edinburgh to make the trip to Port Seton.
This festival takes place between the three harbours of Prestonpans, Cockenzie and Port Seton in East Lothian and is based around hosting artwork in indigenous spaces, such as houses, halls and businesses.
