Experience The Day of the Dead in York

Experience The Day of the Dead in York People hoping to forget the festive cheer and good will of Christmas should pay a visit to the Grand Opera House while staying in cheap hotels in York next year.

On January 20th, the venue will host The Day of the Dead, a brand new show from the Circus of Horrors.

Themed around a Mexican festival of the same name, the production features a cast of 26 circus performers, as well as live rock music played by the Intercepters from Hell.

The show tells the story of a group of bizarre characters who go on a journey to transport the body of Dr Haze, their fallen leader, to an Aztec burial ground.

All sorts of weird and wonderful acts and performers appear in The Day of the Dead, including witch doctors, voodoo acrobats and vampires that pull off impressive stunts.

There will be some more family-friendly entertainment on offer at the Grand Opera House on February 6th when a local dance group gives a performance of Cinderella.
