People staying in cheap hotels in London in May will be able to learn more about the intriguing and massively popular concept of the doll's house.
The Kensington Dollshouse Festival will be held at Kensington Town Hall between May 16th and 18th this year.
Since it was established in 1985, this event has developed into the top international show for dolls' houses, miniatures and models.
The festival has become so popular that regular visitors come from as far afield as Japan and the USA, as well as countries across Europe.
Some 95 per cent of the items for sale at the event are hand-made, with more than 175 British and foreign craftsmen exhibiting their work.
Experienced doll's house-keepers will be able to find plenty of new accessories at the festival, ranging from tables, wallpapers and garden items to bathroom fittings, lights and clothes pegs.
Beginners can purchase kits to assemble themselves and those that are more interested in the aesthetic appeal of a doll's house can find fully-constructed mansions with everything already installed.
The Kensington Dollshouse Festival has also started to hold lectures given by experts in the field, which visitors can attend for free.
