Families Enjoy Disney During Cheap Hotel Stays in London
People who book a cheap hotel in London during the school half term might be among those interested in buying tickets for a Disney film screening at the Barbican.
Celebrating all things House of Mouse, London's Barbican centre will host Disney by Hand – the Art of Traditional Hand Drawn Animation season, just in time for half term.
Until February 27th, the Barbican will forget computer animation and showcase hand-drawn cartoons that many children may not have seen before.
Highlights include Disney's first animated feature, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, from 1937, as well as Oscar-winning shorts The Ugly Duckling, Three Little Pigs and The Tortoise and the Hare.
This comes as Disney reverted to its hand-drawn roots this month with the release of The Princess and The Frog. The Barbican is offering visitors who buy a ticket to the film to get children in free for a showing of one other Disney film.
