Fiddle Orchestra to Entertain Edinburgh
Edinburgh citizens and visitors will be entertained by the world-renowned Scottish Fiddle Orchestra in June this year.
The group's performance at the Festival Theatre on June 14th will be its only concert in the Scottish capital this year and will be in aid of charity.
Led by Bill Cook and conductor John Mason MBE, the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra offers a proud and patriotic programme of music.
Mezzo-soprano Colette Ruddy, tenor Dennis Haggerty and compere Jim McColl MBE complement the variety of lively, fun and traditional music performed by the orchestra.
People staying in cheap hotels in Edinburgh will be able to find plenty to keep them entertained at the Festival Theatre this year, including the Scottish Opera's version of Verdi's Falstaff.
This show featuring the character made famous by three of William Shakespeare's plays will run from June 18th to 28th.
