Gallery to Present New Views of Mackintosh
Art lovers will be busy booking cheap hotels in Glasgow after a new exhibition at the Hunterian Gallery was announced.
The gallery will host a unique exhibition exploring the lesser-known textiles work of Glasgow's favourite son Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
Running from September 5th to December 6th, the display will provide a rare opportunity for fans of the Art Nouveau pioneer to gain a glimpse of his textile work.
The exhibition has been organised in collaboration with the Glasgow School of Art and will feature digitally re-interpreted versions of Mackintosh's designs as well as hand-drawn original designs.
