Glasgow Looks Forward to Seasonal Events
People planning stays in cheap hotels in Glasgow over the coming months can look forward to a number of major autumn and winter events in the Scottish city.
One of the biggest highlights will be Glasgow Fireworks on November 5th, a spectacular pyrotechnic display which the city council claims to be "unparalleled in the United Kingdom".
The event takes place against the backdrop of Glasgow's famous Winter Gardens and is accompanied by music and other entertainment to ensure visitors are kept happy all evening long.
Visitors will then be able to mark the onset of winter from November 22nd with the launch of Glasgow on Ice.
This two-month-long event will provide residents and visitors with the opportunity to skate on of the largest outdoor rinks in Europe.
Glasgow on Ice offers the chance to enjoy fun ice-skating while taking in the Christmas lights, nativity scenes and the famous City Chambers. There will also be ice discos, themed evenings, children's rides and a Santa's grotto.
