Glasgow Prepares for Old Firm Derby
Football fans should get their cheap hotels in Glasgow booked soon if they are planning on attending the Old Firm derby, one of the most hotly contested fixtures in European football.
Celtic and Rangers will play each other for the first time in the 2008-09 season on August 31st at Celtic Park.
While Rangers beat Celtic on two of the three occasions the sides met last year, the Hoops secured the eventual bragging rights by winning the title on the last day of the season.
Whoever wins the forthcoming match, the atmosphere is sure to be electric in the most competitive game that Scottish football has to offer.
The month of September will see the reigning league champions play one game at home, against Aberdeen on September 27th.
Rangers will have two fixtures at Ibrox, against Kilmarnock on September 13th and Motherwell on September 21st.
