Glasgow to Greet Garfunkel
Much-loved singer-songwriter Art Garfunkel will bring his distinctive voice and musical style to Scotland this year.
Glasgow hotel visitors will be able to see the star, who is best known as one half of award-winning duo Simon and Garfunkel, play the city's Royal Concert Hall on October 10th.
Simon and Garfunkel created some of the most enduring songs in popular music, including Bridge Over Troubled Water, Mrs Robinson and The Sound of Silence.
Garfunkel has forged an impressive solo career, dabbling in poetry and acting as well as producing his own albums.
Visitors to Glasgow will be entertained by a broad programme of music events at the Royal Concert Hall in October, including a show by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra on October 11th.
This evening will include works by Strauss and Beethoven, including Strauss' orchestral suite from his opera Der Rosenkavalier.
