Glasgow to Host Comic Competition Final
Glasgow's Old Fruitmarket venue will host the grand final of the Scottish Comedian of the Year competition in September.
XFM presenter and award-winning comedian Des Clarke will introduce the nine contenders who will be vying for the title of Scotland's best comic this year.
As well as making the audience laugh, the competitors will also have to impress the celebrity judging panel with the originality of their material and their adeptness at dealing with hecklers.
People staying in cheap hotels in Glasgow can pick up tickets for this event, which will be held on September 28th, for £13.
The Old Fruitmarket will play host to a number of concerts and shows over the coming months, including a performance by the London Philharmonic Orchestra on October 3rd.
There will then be an exhibition of the work of Robert Heindel, who is famed for his paintings of dancers, from October 6th to 19th.
