Glasgow to Host Outdoor Shakespeare Festival
People staying in cheap hotels in Glasgow over the coming weeks will be able to enjoy Bard in the Botanics, Scotland's only outdoor Shakespeare festival.
This event, which will run from June 25th until August 2nd this year, sees some of Shakespeare's most famous works presented in the unique environment of Glasgow's Botanic Gardens.
Since it was launched in 2002, the festival has proven a big hit with critics and audiences, regularly attracting thousands of visitors every year.
The Sunday Herald described the event as "the perfect way to enjoy a summers evening", while the List said that summer "wouldn't be the same in Glasgow" without the Bard in the Botanics festival.
Opening this year's series of shows will be the Merchant of Venice, which will run from June 25th until July 12th.
Much Ado About Nothing will have a number of showings between July 16th and August 2nd, while Love's Labours Lost will be staged four times between July 30th and August 2nd.
