Go on a Ghost Walk in York
People with an interest in the mysterious and macabre will certainly find something to interest them while staying in cheap hotels in York next year.
The Belt Up Theatre company will be running a series of ghost walks in the city between February 5th and March 6th.
Described as "an intimate theatrical experience", the tours will combine history with art as the theatre group takes guests on a journey through some of the darkest chapters of York's past.
Walks will set off from the Theatre Royal at 20:00.
Belt Up Theatre's previous initiatives in York include a production of Franz Kafka's The Trial.
In its review of the show, the Guardian said: "It doesn't so much inhabit the venue as haunt it, as if what you are witnessing is a terrifying vision conjured from your own warped imagination."
There will also be some music to enjoy in York next year, with the Ruby Turner Band set to perform at the Theatre Royal on February 5th.
