Halloween Fans Invited to Edinburgh

Halloween fans invited to Edinburgh People looking for a memorable experience this Halloween have been urged to see what the city of Edinburgh has to offer.

According to VisitScotland, Edinburgh is one of the "ghostliest" cities in the world, with a history full of bodysnatchers, witches, Jekyll and Hyde and other spooky characters.

Among the highlights of the city's Halloween events will be an attempt by Edinburgh Dungeons to break the world record for the most faces painted in an hour and the world's loudest individual scream.

Visitors with an interest in the paranormal can take part in a night of ghost-hunting with Auld Reekie Tours, which will include seances, tarot card reading, ouija board sessions and more.

Edinburgh's most famous underground attraction, Real Mary King's Close, will host a number of supernatural history tours, which will give visitors the chance to see a photo of a ghostly image captured by infra-red camera.

Other entertainment on offer to people staying in cheap hotels in Edinburgh this Halloween includes Fright Night at Vogrie House in Midlothian and the Samhuinn Celtic festival.
