Hello Kitty Coming to Harrods
Harrods is to play host to the Japanese designer of Hello Kitty at a special in-store event this weekend.
Families staying in London hotels on Saturday, October 31st or Sunday, November 1st should make their way down to the luxury department store.
"There are few characters which have reached the iconic international status of Hello Kitty," noted Harrods.
"Incredibly, the Japanese-born star is about to turn 35 - and to mark the occasion Harrods invites you to join us for a simply purr-fect weekend event."
The Knightsbridge venue is celebrating Hello Kitty's 35th birthday with a visit by her designer Yuko Yamagoshi between 16:00 and 18:00 on Saturday and 15:00 and 17:00 on Sunday.
Fans of the Asian feline will receive several goodies if they spend £50 or more on Hello Kitty goods.
Treats include meeting Mr Yamagoshi, receiving a special Hello Kitty drawing only for you and taking home an exclusive 35th anniversary bag.
