Henry V Staged in Grand Surroundings
The Shakespearean classic Henry V will see a new production in fitting surroundings this summer.
Heartbreak Productions will give a performance of the historical play at York's Helmsley Castle on July 30th.
People staying in cheap hotels in York who would like to see this show are advised to book in advance as demand is expected to be high.
Henry V is one of Shakespeare's great historical plays, telling the story of the eponymous king through events that take place immediately before and after the Battle of Agincourt during the Hundred Years' War.
The setting for the play is an English Heritage site comprising impressive ruins surrounded by steep banks and ditches.
Helmsley Castle will host a number of events over the coming months, including medieval falconry displays and an investigation of the true image of a 15th century knight.
