Jazz and Blues Come to Edinburgh

Edinburgh will be grooving to the sounds of innumerable funky tunes this summer at the International Jazz & Blues Festival.

Music fans staying in cheap hotels in Edinburgh will be able to enjoy the festival between July 25th and August 3rd.

This event is the longest running jazz festival in the UK and regularly features international artists representing various musical genres at venues throughout the city.

Last year's festival saw artists including the Phil Mason New Orleans All Stars and Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames playing at venues such as the Spiegeltent and Queen's Hall.

There were also a number of free events, such as the Mardi Gras festival at the Grassmarket and a gospel concert at St Cuthbert's Church.

Another major cultural event taking place this summer is the Edinburgh International Film Festival, which will run from June 18th to 29th and will include screenings at a number of the city's cinemas.
