Jazzgow Jazz fans will have an excellent reason to head to Scotland's largest city this summer when the Glasgow International Jazz Festival takes place between June 23rd and July 2nd.

A wide range of performers are scheduled to appear in the programme, including the likes of Riverboat Shuffle, Tommy Smith's Youth Jazz Orchestra and the Strathclyde Jazz Orchestra.

Performances will be staged at a number of venues around the city with tickets varying in price from £5 to £22 for single-day events.

Jazz fans attending the event will also be able to enjoy a range of attractions in and around the city.

Thses include the bohemian ambience of the pubs and cafe's of the West End, the many wide open spaces in the city such as Kelvingrove Park and Glasgow Green, the excellent shopping in the city centre and the long, light evenings that are a feature of Scotland in summertime.
