Jive with Jools and His Rhythm and Blues
While he may be better known to some people for presenting his late night live music show, Jools Holland is first and foremost a musician and he will be showing off his considerable talents all over the country this winter.
On December 16th the diminutive ivory-tickler will bring his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra to Birmingham's National Indoor Arena (NIA).
The group's UK tour kicks off on October 26th in Norwich and wraps up on December 22nd in Brighton, with dates at the Royal Albert Hall, Glasgow's SECC and Manchester's Carling Apollo in between.
It follows the release of Best of Friends, Jools Holland's 12th studio album in as many years, which features collaborations with Bono, Sting, Eric Clapton, Norah Jones, KT Tunstall, Joe Strummer and others.
There will be some famous faces putting in appearances on the blues maestro's tour too, including Lulu, Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall.
The NIA is one of Birmingham's major concert arenas and it will also host a show by Pete Doherty's band Babyshambles on November 28th.
