Jools Holland to Help Glasgow Get Down
Music fans staying in cheap hotels in Glasgow in December will have some top quality live entertainment to enjoy at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra will bring their nationwide tour to the Glasgow venue on December 12th and 13th.
The famous pianist will be accompanied by the guest vocalists of Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall and Marc Almond, as well as special guest Eddi Reader at the Glasgow shows.
Jools and his musical colleagues will run through tracks from his 11 albums from the past 11 years, including some numbers from his latest record Best of Friends.
This album, which was released last autumn, included collaborations with music legends such as the late George Harrison, Bono and Tom Jones.
Music lovers can catch up with the nationwide tour at a number of other venues in the UK, including the Manchester Apollo (November 21st and 22nd) and the Birmingham NIA (December 20th).
