Jools Holland to Play Edinburgh
People looking for some live musical entertainment during trips to Edinburgh this summer should pay a visit to the Playhouse to see a performance by Jools Holland.
Accompanied by his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, Holland will come to the Edinburgh Playhouse on August 9th.
The show will feature guest performances by Gilson Lavis and Dave Edmonds, as well as supporting vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall.
Edinburgh will not be the only destination where Jools Holland will be appearing this year, with gigs also scheduled at the Liverpool Summer Pops (July 24th), the Notodden Blues Festival in Norway (July 31st) and Dyrham Park (August 1st).
The Playhouse will also provide plenty of comedy entertainment for people staying in cheap hotels in Edinburgh this summer, with Dylan Moran performing two gigs on August 10th and 11st.
Ricky Gervais will also be appearing at the venue, presenting his brand new stand-up show on August 25th.
