Lland of Jazz Players
Those who fancy mixing a bit of music with scenery have a good chance to do so in May when the Llangollen Jazz festival takes place.
Running from May 11th to the 13th, the event sees jazz performers from all over the world descend on various venues in the Denbighshire town to entertain visitors, who will have no trouble finding cheap hotels in the area.
In addition to the music, those staying in the Deeside town can enjoy a wide range of attractions both near and very near.
Local attractions include the ruins of Castell Dinas on a hill overlooking the town and Valle Crusis Abbey a few miles north, as well as the scenery of the Dee valley.
Keen walkers can enjoy the Berwyn hills nearby, while slightly further excursions to the west and east respectively will enable visitors to enjoy the mountains of Snowdonia or the historic delights of Chester.
