London Drinkers Head to Camden

London drinkers head to Camden Cheap hotels in London will be hosting the most ardent and knowledgeable drinkers from around the country in March for the Beer and Cider Festival.

This event, organised by the Campaign for Real Ale (Camra), will be held at the Camden Centre, opposite St Pancras station, from March 12th to 14th.

It is one of the few festivals where Camra volunteers are responsible for the catering and many participants pride themselves on the variety and quality of the food on sale.

The drinks are the star of this festival, of course, and in the past the list of ales, beers, ciders and parries on offer has included such memorable names as Monkey Wrench, Routemaster Pale Ale, Over the Moon Mild and Devil's Elbow.

Camra hosts plenty of events throughout the year, including two beer festivals in Wigan and Leicester in March.

This month the group is hosting the National Winter Ales Festival at New Century Hall in Manchester.
