London to Become Centre of Cinematic Celebration
The city of London will once again devote itself to the celebration of film this year when it hosts the 52nd Times BFI London Film Festival.
This glamorous festival will take place between October 15th and 30th, with various events and screenings being held around the city.
One of the highlights of the 52nd outing of the London Film Festival will be the world premiere of Frost/Nixon, a new political drama starring Michael Sheen and Frank Langella.
The lead actors play David Frost and Richard Nixon in a film that explores the now-famous interviews between the two men in 1977, three years after Nixon resigned in disgrace and while America was still reeling in the aftermath of the Vietnam war.
While the world premieres will grab all the headlines at the festival, there will also be plenty of smaller screenings and events for people staying in cheap hotels in London to explore.
Films will be shown at a number of locations in London, including the Odeon West End and the BFI Southbank.
