London to Celebrate Eastern Promise
London will celebrate the significance and value of its East End in March with a special festival dedicated to the area.
This year will represent the return of the East Festival following the success of the event in 2006.
People staying in cheap hotels in London can join in with the celebrations between March 6th and 11th, during which time a number of activities taking place across east London will be promoted.
Four particular areas will be focused on – central east London, Hackney, Stratford and the Docklands.
The range of events and activities will cover a number of fields of entertainment and culture, including performance, art, theatre, history, food, film and fashion.
Retail addicts will be kept happy, with sales of everything from vintage items to cutting-edge new designs, while there will also be entertainment for families.
