Meet the Pub Landlord in Birmingham
Comedy fans staying in cheap hotels in Birmingham in May will be able to see a show by one of Britain's most popular stand-ups when Al Murray brings his national tour to the West Midlands.
The Pub Landlord's Beautiful British Tour will stop at the National Indoor Arena (NIA) in Birmingham on May 6th following two earlier shows on April 14th and 15th.
Murray and his Pub Landlord character are now among Britain's best-known comedy figures, enjoying success in the ITV1 programme Happy Hour and the live Audience with Al Murray the Pub Landlord show.
The Times has described the performer as "the most consistently exciting live comedian in the land for years", while the Sun has claimed that he "actually deserves the tag genius".
Murray will also perform at the SECC in Glasgow (April 17th, 18th) and the Manchester Apollo (April 23rd to 26th) during his tour this year before finishing at the O2 Arena in London on April 8th and 9th.
Visitors to Birmingham looking to enjoy some live music should head to the NIA on April 29th when it hosts Bob Dylan or the following day to see the Australian Pink Floyd Show.
