Motown Production to Hit Glasgow

An event celebrating the music of The Four Tops and The Temptations is to take place at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow in August.

Billed as a "slick, high-energy concert" which celebrates the hits of the Motown era of the 60s and 70s, the event is likely to sell out fast so those looking to go should book their cheap hotels in Glasgow and reserve tickets soon.

The live show features all of the hits from the two big groups, as well as other classic songs from bands of the time, such as The Jacksons, The Isley Brothers and artists such as Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye.

Many great productions are taking place at the theatre this summer, including Fiddler on the Roof, one of theatre-land's top musicals featuring Joe McGann from the August 18th to 23rd and the Jungle Book, bring the much loved Rudyard Kipling story to life.

The Theatre Royal in Glasgow is home to the Scottish Opera and Scottish Ballet, and has been a feature in the city for over 100 years.
