NBA Fever to Grip London
People who like their sports to have an American flavour should get their cheap hotels in London booked soon ahead of the arrival of NBA basketball at the O2 Arena.
Leading US sides the New Jersey Nets and Miami Heat will take to the court at the east London venue on October 12th.
This pre-season game will be part of the NBA's tour of Europe, which will also take in Barcelona, Berlin and Paris.
It will not be the first time that the NBA has landed in London, however, with last year's sold-out game attracting visitors to the O2 from all over the UK and Europe.
Visit London chief executive James Bidwell said: "The return of the NBA live tour to London is a tremendous boost for the capital.
"London welcomes the return of the NBA as we continue to attract the best and biggest sporting events in the lead up to and beyond the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games."
The NBA comprises a total of 30 teams in the United States and Canada.
