Never Forget the Definitive Boy-band
People staying in cheap hotels in London over the coming months who had a soft spot for the boy-band to drown out all boy-bands – Take That – may be interested in a new show opening in the West End.
Never Forget, a new musical based on the songs of Take That, opens at the Savoy Theatre in London on May 7th.
In a similar mould to smash hit show Mamma Mia, Never Forget uses a host of well-known pop songs to tell its story, which involves aspiring singer-songwriter Ash Sherwood.
Ash's ambitions to make it big are made all the more serious when mounting debts threaten the future of his mum's pub.
He decides to get together with four friends, including a shy bank manager and a dim but endearing stripper, to form the ultimate Take That tribute band, with plenty of laughs and low points along the way.
Lovers of the band will be jumping out of their seats when the big numbers are unleashed, with Relight My Fire, Could if be Magic, A Million Love Songs and, of course, Never Forget all included in the show.
