New Cinema Attraction Launched in Edinburgh
Travellers staying in cheap hotels in Edinburgh this year will be able to visit the Our Dynamic Earth centre, one of the city's top visitor attractions, to see a groundbreaking new film.
We Are Astronomers is narrated by former Doctor Who star David Tennant and utilises 360-degree full-dome technology.
It takes visitors on a quest to discover far off galaxies and decipher a code that is hidden in the stars.
The new film was put together to celebrate the International Year of Astronomy and is being shown at Our Dynamic Earth's digital planetarium, known as the FutureDome.
Catriona Cardie, the visitor attraction's marketing director, said: "We are incredibly excited to be the only Scottish venue to screen We Are Astronomers, a true 'wow factor' for visitors and fantastic showcase for our sophisticated new dome projection technology.
"It is an honour to work with the National Space Centre and partners on this film as part of our celebration of [the] International Year of Astronomy."
Our Dynamic Earth is a science centre that celebrates the wonder of our planet, from the time of the dinosaurs right up to the modern day.
