November not too early for festive fun in Newcastle Visitors to Newcastle in a couple of months' time will find out that the beginning of November is not too early to begin looking forward to Christmas at a festive gift fair.

This event will be held just outside the centre of Newcastle, at Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens, on November 8th and 9th.

Eager shoppers looking to get their present-buying off to an early start will find all manner of treats and trinkets at the fair, including regional produce, festive food and unique gifts.

People who like nothing more than scouring market stalls for unusual objects will find plenty of places to pique their interest in Newcastle, including the Armstrong Bridge market.

Visitors to cheap hotels in Newcastle will be able to visit this fair every Sunday between 10am and 4pm.

Having been held since 1963, the market has built up a loyal following of browsers and sells items ranging from contemporary art and sculpture to jewellery.
