Pay Tribute to Queen in York
Fans of one of the classic bands of the 20th century, Queen, will be able to celebrate their love of the group in York this year.
Music lovers staying in cheap hotels in York will be able to catch One Night of Queen at the Grand Opera House on June 15th.
The show stars Gary Mullen, who was a computer operator in Glasgow before he won the 2000 series of Stars in Their Eyes.
Bringing Freddie Mercury back to life is now Mullen's full-time job and he is backed by a group of talented musicians filling the roles of Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor.
York's Grand Opera House will be providing entertainment for people who love dance as well as music in June, with the English Youth Ballet's production of The Sleeping Beauty showing on June 6th and 7th.
This show boasts a cast of up to 100 young dancers who, according to a BBC review, give "a tremendous performance".
