Premiership Titans Clash in December
Premiership football fans or people on a Christmas holiday in England eager to enjoy some sporting action will be spoilt for choice on December 15th, as two matches see the 'big four' clash on the same day.
One option will be a stay in a cheap hotel in London combined with a trip to the Emirates Stadium as current league leaders Arsenal take on Chelsea.
These two clubs have seen their fortunes flipped upside down this season, with the Gunners flying high following a disappointing 2006-07 campaign and Chelsea in turmoil after the departure of Jose Mourinho, the man who brought them five trophies in three years.
Whatever state either side is in come December, this London derby will be a classy and competitive affair.
In the north of the country on December 15th, sport fans will be absorbed in the season's first clash between the two most successful clubs in the history of English football - Liverpool and Manchester United.
The Red Devils are the reigning Premiership champions after a three-year drought. That is nothing compared to Liverpool's wait for a league trophy however, as their last title came in 1990, in the days of Division One.
