Rolls Royce Rally to Roll into York

Car fans staying in cheap hotels in York in August will be able to see a unique event as the city hosts an extensive Rolls Royce rally.

This occasion, on August 10th, sees a host of luxurious Rolls Royce vehicles displayed on Harewood House's North Front.

Considered the biggest and best of the car rallies held at this spot, the event attracts Rolls and Daimlers from throughout the country.

Harewood House, which was once the home of the Earl of Harewood, is one of York's top visitors attractions and is renowned for its ornate architecture and stunning interiors.

An exhibition held at the house features more than 1,000 objects to help visitors discover the stories of the location and the lives of the people who once lived and worked there.

Another highlight is the house's bird garden, which is home to more than 80 rare and exotic species, including penguins, owls, flamingos, parrots and pheasants.
