Scotland Gets Gardening in the Capital

Scotland gets gardening in the capital Scotland's capital city will be immersing itself in the world of gardening from May 30th until June 1st this year.

Gardening Scotland will explore the horticultural year, providing a multitude of points of interest for people who like to get their fingers green, at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh.

This event is the highlight of the country's gardening calendar, with visitors given access to specialist nurseries and growers from across the UK.

People who are new to the art of garden-tending will also be welcome at the show and provided with all the inspiration and advice they need to venture confidently among their flowers and bushes.

The centrepiece of Gardening Scotland will be Dobbies Floral Hall, which will house thousands of rare and stunning blooms that have been nurtured to perfection.

Other attractions will include the variety of top designers' show gardens, the Pallet Garden contest, a food fair and a crafts marquee.

People staying in cheap hotels in Edinburgh who make it to the event may also get the chance to see themselves on TV, as BBC Scotland will be in attendance to beam the garden show to the nation.
